Sorry haven't read all posts

I still struggle with Monty on a lead :( he is soooo STUBBORN and no matter how many times I have gone back to the house, he will still pull if he wants :killer:

Yesterday, I did a 45 minute walk on the lead (yes with Pops too) and most of it he was an angel /love/ BUT - if he wants to pull, then he does and no amount of walking back, stop starting etc.... works. I have shouted  and will warn him if he is going too fast by my cue uh oh! but its a battle I don't often seem to win :( He is not wearing the halti or the GL he has been without for quite a while now - I feel I am consitent, I guess, I am either a crap owner, or I have a SH*T of a dog that won't budge unless he really wants too - AND I am not giving up.

YES it would be easier for him to walk off lead all the time, but thats not what I want, so I hang in there, and it still doesn't come easily. I do wonder if some of its because he struggles to look at me while he walks, (spine etc..) but, I will get there, even if it takes me til he is 10

I have watch CM and have mixed feelings about his techniques...but from what I have seen, he does very well with all dogs and his amazing pack of 30+ dogs, all get along and he is totally in control (amazing really)!

I also believe that actions should have consequences, if you have done good, then you should be praised and rewarded - but if you have done something bad, then I am afraid, there should be a consequence!!
